We had over 30 men, young and old attend the retreat on Jan.16 - 18 at Tom Stamman’s Prayer Cabin near West Union, Iowa.  Friday night was pizza and the ice breaker session where we all tried to learn as much about each other as possible in 30 minutes. Then we all took turns in the “Hot Seat” while the rest tried to remember our bio’s.  We had a riot and many laughs as we shared our answers.

Saturday started off with some breakfast, snowshoeing and then we kicked things off at 0930 with Adam, Greg & band providing awesome worship. Terry Rassmussen spoke about the relationship with the Father, Greg Moser taught us about Purity. After the Great Chili Cookoff, more time for snow tubing, relaxing and man time.  Tony Tomashek shared about being Godly Manly Men and then Billy Knott challenged us to what it really means to be part of the “Band of Brothers”.

Saturday night after a Mexican feast, more awesome worship and then Pastor Andy did the final session on the meaning of the Anoiting of God. Then we had some down time for ping pong, a game of “Risk” and some guys watched a rafting movie.  Sunday was a quick breakfast and we departed for home at 0700.

It was an awesome, incredible weekend of hanging out with some great men of God, hope you can make it next year.
